ASUS ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) Software Image Version: WW 8916_V only for WW 8916 CPU SKU only*
Improve Items:
1. Several apps update
2. Support India SOS call

Steps of Update: 
1. Check software version of your device**
2. Only apply to same SKU update, Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW.
3. Software update cannot transfer the software SKU and downgrade the software version.
4. Wrong SKU may cause update failure, please update the same SKU version only.
5. How to manual update firmware please refer to
*How to know the device model? 
Path: Settings->About-> Model number
Example: ASUS PadFone2
**How to know the device software version? 
Path: Settings->About-> software information->Build number
Example: CHT_PadFone2-user-
*System upgrade may cause part of data missing, please buckup your important data before system upgrading.

[ROM][Marshmallow Beta] Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for ASUS ZenFone Max ZC550KL

Today i will share Android 6.0.1 Official Beta Marshmallow for ASUS ZenFone Max ZC550KL. This is Beta ROM and maybe you will found some bugs. So DWYOR !

Download Marshmallow Beta ROM

  1. Android 6.0.1 Marhsmallow Beta for ASUS ZenFone Max (Download)

How to Install Marshmallow Beta ROM:

  1. Download ROM above and Extract it to a folder
  2. Download ADB tools (Download)
  3. Turn off ZenFone max and enter fastboot mode Power+Volume up
  4. On Marshmallow beta ROM folder press shift+right click -> open command here
  5. Check connection by typing: fastboot devices if your device is listed you're ready to flash the ROM
  6. On Marshmallow beta rom folder open S3V3N_cmd file
  7. Command prompt will pop up and type: 
  8. flashall_AFT WW_ZC550KL_V _M3.1.39_Phone-user.raw
  9. Wait until finish and restart, done
  10. First boot may take a long time, be patient :)

The Asus ZenFone Max is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Asus ZenFone Max packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. 

The Asus ZenFone Max runs Android 5.0 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. 

The Asus ZenFone Max is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer.
